WHAT?!? No Cheese Wedge?!?:Hehe:

Very slick looking tourer, nice bar controls - like those custom bars you can get for 3-4 thousand dollars. What's that above/infront of the bars and behind the dash?

... and where's the kickstand? ;-)

It's so well balanced, you don't need a kickstand:lol: ! I think the front of the tank area will be holding all the electronic doo-dads. Sure would like to be able to pick one of these up if they look close to this concept!

Sold!!! Count me in on one of those!!! Looking at those four pictures really makes ya think that concept D could be the final pick. The picture is alot more detailed than the others.

Very nice. IF you like a full boat touring bike. Not sure if I do. I REALLY hoped for a revamped TC. Guess I'll see once it arrives. And when.

My BMW GSPD had a big honking gas tank like that, and part of it was a storage compartment covered by a flip up lid. The lines in that area make me wonder if there's something similar going on, with part of the fuel storage maybe extending under the front of the driver's seat.

The "dummy" tank (tank under the seat) was concieved by the origanal GoldWing back in 1975. It worked great for the center gravity handling and ride issues. If that is what is going to be implemented on the new cruiser, that would be a good call.

The problem is that I can't remember a time when a drawing became a real life motorcycle from Victory.

I remember the fall of 2001, looking at the full mock-ups of the future Victory motorcycles...and those bikes came to pass, with their design cues evident in the Vegas. And of course, the Vegas led to the Hammer and Jackpot. Those design cues were around long before Arlen Ness stepped into the picture.

A couple of years ago, Victory released another concept picture, this time of a big-skirted bike...and we haven't seen anything from that concept, either.

My thought is that concepts are concepts, and that Victory is attempting to appease a large number of Victory owners (particularly those that bought earlier bikes) who feel that a) Their tastes are being abandoned [note: this design set doesn't change that] and b] They want a full bagger and are weary of waiting and being told, "Next year."

So, we'll see. I don't see much of the Visteon concept bike in any of these pictures, so who knows what the future will bring.

Well I think this time WILL be different. This is what it will look like. Victory released those same pictures to the press a month ago. I think the idea is to keep teasing us with tidbits till the release. They have been working on this now for over 3 years. I believe that you will see more teases as well as the release date gets closer.

Is it possible (a long shot) that Victory will pull the cover off on their sponsored ride at the end of this month?

Kind of like a "Thank you" to the local riders that have been dedicated to Victory from the start...

Not likely at all. Man can you imagine the posts on the VMC if they did something like THAT..... YIPES!!!! :Horror: The country would burn up from the flames for sure. :devil32:

Some of the members here have contacts at Victory, right? How about getting Victory to release the first photos of the real thing in these forums, maybe a day before the "real" release? After all, the twin cities and surrounding area may be the center of the universe for owners per square mile, so it makes a certain kind of sense.

Now THAT would be interesting!
