I got one of the Victory Nylon Riding Jackets and I love it. It is the black and gray all season jacket with a zip out liner.
They come with protection pads that can be removed from their interior pockets and I have not needed the zip out liner yet. And for those warmer days, there are zippered vents on the front, the back and under the arms.
The one I got shipped to me, had been worn by someone and returned. They didn't zip the line back in before they returned it, so I am missing that, and they left me a nice pair of leather Victory gloves in the pocket.
We were going to send it back for a new one but they just credited me back my money and said "keep it"
Even if I had to pay for this jacket, it would be worth every penny! I don't see them in the 2006 catalog, so they might go on sale at PurePolaris.com this winter. As of now, they have all sizes available.
I give this jacket a 9....nobody's perfect!

You still got my clogs from Sturgis?
Remember that Victory leather computer bag that Polaris girl had, can I order one of those or have your wife buy one and will buy it from you all?

I can sure ask her about the bag. I will give you a shout when I hear back on it.
I am off to deer camp tonight. But I am back Monday.

Silly boy, the best way to find Bambi is to ride your bike.
Sid, show this guy the way to more deer then he has ever seen.
I of course only hunt Deer and Bear.

I managed to find something else on the freeway on my way home tonight. Traffic was moving along real good and all of a sudden there it was. It looked like a small chunk of rubber you know the kind that break away from semi tires. As I got closer I could see it was a bungy cord off some old harley I suppose and knew I should avoid it. Well the 250 rear tire caught that sucker and it skung up caught my new and improved liscence plate holder and flip with the mighty force of a ball pine hammer square into my rear fender. Lucky for me it was not my back. This thing put a solid dent in my rear about 2" across and must have sunk it in 1/4 ". I am just sick about it and I think I am going to fix it. Can't see riding the coolest looking machine I have ever owned with a big old dent in it. Maybe I will think about custom paint.

It is good to find a silver lining in a BAD situation. Sorry about the dent Sid but looking forward to see what your creative juices produce by spring.

Sid -
If you're taking suggestions, I think you should chrome the whole bike like that V-Rod we saw at the bar in Marine On St. Croix.
Just think of the song possibilities:
Bang bang Sidney's chromed-out Hammer came down upon their heads... :action35: :BigLaugh: :Jester: :floor:

Sorry about the dent Sid. :(
I'm sure that you realize that any other color than black may slow you down a bit. :sarcastic The only exceptions is pearl with grey flames which is pretty darn fast. :Scholar: Maybe you can find some high speed paint if you do some research, however whatever you can come with is bound to work to my advantage out of the stops.
ps. what about a TCVR Christmas get togther, maybe at Dean's house? :goofy: ;) I'm sure his wife would not mind ;)

Sorry to here about the dent Sid. It's good to see you taking it as good as you are. Maybe there is custom paint sheetmetal exchange somewhere?
