Hi guys,

When I was down at Warner's today (I got there before he closed) I asked him what time he opens Friday morning. He said normally 9 o'clock but that he would open up early and put on coffee and rolls for us. Then he decided that he would buy breakfast for anyone that shows up at 8 (for the ride to KC).

You guys that are still undecided about going can now add a free breakfast to the list of reasons to go.

I have my bike back. With the new tranny; lucky me. I have to break it in again because I had some other parts replaced. I am going to talk to my boss, and see if we can find a way to free me up, so I can go along. The boss at home said whooppeee. What the hell do you suppose that means! It is very unlikely that I will be able to get off, but I will make a run at it.

It's tough to beat a deal like that!

We will have to ride like crazy to make it through KC before rush-hour.

I figured if we left at 7am, we would be through KC by 3:30.

Tom - Glad to hear your scoot is back together! You would be a welcome addition to our cavalcade!

Tom, from the sound of your post it seems to me you may have the flu bug coming on...in fact, being the MD I am;) , I would say it'll probably hit thursday evening or early friday am! Sure would be good to ride with you...seems like it's been a year or so!(wait a minute, I think it HAS been a year or so)

I won't be going along Friday. My boss is going out of town, and he is the only one, other than myself who can do the job that I do. If I call in sick, the newspaper will go out, but there will be a hell of a hickup, and my ass would be in hot water. You guys have a good time. All of a sudden I really want to go.
