26' trailerable ( includes trailer ) MacGregor sailboat. 1994 model S.
Water ballast, retractable keel and rudder. Lots of updates, set up for single handed sailing. All lines run to cockpit. 4 sails; main, working jib, genoa and
spinnaker. sail cover, seat cushions, installed compass in cockpit. Comes with fenders and lines, all running lines, 8 gallon gas tank in lasarette, 6 horse
Johnson, anchor with 100' of rode ( not rope, rode), stereo and 2 year old Raytheon VHS radio ( installed), custom built control panel, marine battery,
2 year old porta potty, tools, hand bilge pump, boat hook, spotlight, and more that I can't remember just at the moment....
Inside is custom woodwork ( ash ) built by the previous owner, my brother in law ( custom cabinet maker who now sails a C&C ). Sink, hand pump, queen size bed under cockpit ( low headroom, just so you know ), bed at the bow,
side settees with storage beneath. Propane stove built in, large swing out table ( for a boat this size ).
Fun to sail, 20 minute setup before launch ( setting mast and running lines ).
We've been out on Lake Superior, Winnie, Lake of the Woods, and Leech with it plus other smaller lakes. My Brother in law has been to the Apostles and Isle Royale with it many times. Great handling, predictable sailing craft. Lots of bang for the buck. Plus it only draws 18" of water when ballasted down...retract the rudder and keel and slide up on any beach.
With our current jobs there just isn't any time to sail anymore. Hate to see it sit there in storage.
We're asking $9000 for the whole shooting match.
Be glad to send pictures to anyone interested.
