So I bought aa Aluma 641 trailer on eBay last week to haul the Vics to my mother inlaws up nort when we go for the weekend.
I drove to the west side of Chicago and picked it up on Sunday. The ramp was up so pulling it against the wind with the Subaru was a challenge with the wind catching the ramp like a wind sock.
I pulled over on the shoulder of I-80 right away and lowered the ramp onto the deck. I was going to open the hatch back to put in the aluminum arm that I just took off...it was still locked. I went to the drivers door, hit the door lock switches, closed the door and went back to the hatch back again......still locked......all locked.......I locked myself out of my F&@%en car! :Horror: on the freeway :floor: with my cell in the car :gun: with an aluminum bar in my hand.
I tried to pick the lock with my pocket knife but no luck. So I took a good swing at the passanger side rear door window.......That sun of a buck is tough! several swings and 45 minutes of getting madder, I moved back one window to the quarter panel window. Swing and another bouce off! :Butt: The next swing did the trick!
It was kinda windy in the car on the way home! :BigLaugh: Thank god for full glass coverage! :Laugh1: It's in the shop getting a new window.
But I got a nice trailer out of the deal...sweet price too!
