View Full Version : 6-25-02 Tuesday meet?

Hey,

The V2V ride will be rolling into the Cities the evening of Tuesday, June 25. Was wondering if anyone wanted to meet for a short putt or at least find a place to meet and eat/bs. Should be rolling in by 6:00 pm so anytime after that would work.

Just say where Randy. I work until 6pm on Tues so that will work out prime for me. Also got the final word on work, time off, etc. Am free Thurs and Fri, so hope to jam down to Des Moines with Pat if he is still going then, and meet you there to ride to KS. Will talk with you more about it Tues nite.

I work until 6 on Tues nite, and do not get to my vehicle until about 630 or so. So I would be playing catch-up with what ever plans are drawn up. Where are you staying Randy? Perhaps meet there?? Anyone???

Hey Mike, I'd be more then happy to have company on the trip down next week. Are you up for an early start? Looks like great weather, if you can believe the long range forcast! :bounce:

Yeah Pat. Leavin early Thurs morn, will probably be to jazzed up to sleep to much. How about meeting up at that truck stop (?) at Hwy 19 & 35. Maybe about 6 - 630 or so. I will be coming from Hutch so that will be about an hour + ride. We could gas up there and all start even that way. Any one else going that morning?

Talked to Randy this evening about meeting him for dinner and/or a ride next tues evening. His computor is down so he is taking phone calls on his cell, see earlier post. He hasn't heard from anyone other than me so we made plans to meet about 6:30 or so at the Kelly Inn at Hwy 55 and I-494 where he is staying.

Hey Mike, the truck stop is called the Big Steer, and that would be a perfect spot to meet. (since I live only about 8 miles away) Let's shoot for anytime between 6 and 6:30. If I beat you there, I'll be having some coffee inside. Look for my KYSO Vic outside, and a grungy biker inside. :bounce:
