Mies Victory in Watkins is having our second "Black Dirt Run" on Saturday June 1st. We will leave our store in Watkins at 4:00 pm and take a short tour of central MN. We plan to return to Watkins around 6:00 pm for a barbaque, refreshments, and some Victory talk.

I am sending out some invites to our Victory customers and posting it here to invite anyone else who cares to join us. Come early and take a demo ride on the new 2002 models. If you rode with us last year we sure hope to see you again, and bring some freinds.

Hope to see you on June1st.

The ride will leave from Mies Victory in Watkins. We are located on Hwy 55 about fifty miles west of Plymouth. Once you get to Watkins you can not miss us, just look for the Victory sign.

Bummer, was planning on making this ride BUT just got a call from my mother and I will be running up north to help move her to a new apartment this weekend.

Blaze was really looking forward to the BBQ too. Heidi was not going to make in but now I get to put on a lot of miles but no fun. :-(

Sounds like the weather will be nice for the ride. Hope to see some of you Saturday. Sounds like a good number of Victory's are showing up, should be fun.

Thanks, Jeff

unfortunatly, I am not going to be able to make it. I have several competing events today, and this one didn't make the final cut. (I have to work this evening).

Jeff, I will putt out there to visit with you one day soon.

Any word how the ride went? I blew a fuse for my ECM yesterday afternoon and now the TPS is AFU, so wasn't able to go. It was all I could do to get her home again. I gotta tell you, I never was a big fan of all this electronic gizmo crap on all the newer vehicles...when it all works they run great, but when they decide they don't want to work you're SOL!

I was late by ten minutes for the ride out, however, I caught up with Kieth, one of Mies' sales reps. He was waiting on the side of the road expecting the group to come by any minute. Unfortunatlly he was waiting on the wrong road.

We headed off for the ride destination, a lake side bar in Spicer, and met up with the rest of the group. There were about thirty of us, mostly Vics, two Goldwings, and a Harley.

The weather was grate and the burgers were well done.

I had a spot of trouble with a loose head light that the tech staff was very helpful in correcting.

Nice dealer, nice folk, nice roads, nice countyside, nice time.

Will do it again in a heart beat.

I had plans that I couldn't break but went out to meis' around 2:00 to wish everybody a safe ride thinking they were leaving at 2:30----oops. Well got a chance for a potty break and said hi to Jeff and Sam and headed home. Thought I would see some riders on the way home but evidently missed you all. I turned off at Buffalo about 3:10 and went east on some back roads. Can't wait till this weekend though see you all later.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the ride. It is quite a sight to see so many Victory's out on the road. We had a great group, great weather, and a great time. Can't wait to do it again.
